President Rodrigo Duterte once again restated that he wanted the entire Island of Boracay under land reform . “We talked to an agricultural engineer and based on the soil, coconut is the most conducive for Boracay,” Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Undersecretary David Erro said on Monday, June 4. Erro added that DAR wanted beneficiaries to provide a “steady supply” of harvests. #WalangPasok: Metro Manila, Luzon Class Suspensions for June 11, 2018 A number of cities in National Capital Region (NCR) and some other provinces in Luzon have suspended classes (#WalangPasok) on Monday, June 11, due to persisting heavy rains brought by Southwest monsson which intensified by Typhoon Domeng (international name: Maliksi). As of posting, classes have been suspended at all levels in all public schools and private educational institutions in the following cities in Metro Manila and parts of Luzon.
